Cornish Wave is a creative brand built around one simple idea: if you have an idea, let’s bring it to life.

It is a home for creativity — a place where music, film, books, comics, clothing, art, publishing, sweets and all kinds of creative projects can exist together under one name.

But Cornish Wave isn’t just about the things I want to create.

It’s about creating a place where other people can create too.

So, what actually is Cornish Wave?

Well… that’s a difficult question to answer, because I don’t think Cornish Wave is just one thing.

Cornish Wave is my passion for creating.

I’ve always had ideas. Lots of them. Sometimes they’re big ideas, sometimes they’re small, and sometimes they’re probably a little bit mad.

But I’ve never wanted those ideas to simply stay ideas.

I want to make them real.

I want to write the books.
I want to make the colouring books.
I want to create the comics.
I want to make the films.
I want to create the music.
I want to design the clothes.
I want to build things that people can hold, watch, listen to, read and enjoy.

And that’s where Cornish Wave comes from.

But it’s not just about me.

As Cornish Wave grows, I want it to become something much bigger than my own ideas.

I want it to become a place where other people’s ideas can come to life too.

Maybe you’ve got a book you’ve always wanted to write.

Maybe you’ve got an idea for a comic.

Maybe you’ve created a character and don’t know what to do with them.

Maybe you make music.

Maybe you want to make a film.

Maybe you’re an artist, designer, writer, photographer, illustrator or creator of something completely different.

I want Cornish Wave to be a place where you can bring that idea.

Because I know how exciting it feels to have an idea that you really believe in.

And I also know how difficult it can be to take that idea and actually turn it into something real.

Building something together

My dream is that, one day, Cornish Wave can bring creative people together and give them the opportunity to create things they might not have been able to create on their own.

Someone might have the story.

Someone else might be able to draw it.

Someone else might make the music.

Someone else might turn it into a film.

Someone else might design the artwork.

And Cornish Wave could bring all of those people together.

Different people. Different talents. Different ideas. One creative community.

I want people to be able to say:

“I made this with Cornish Wave.”

And I want that to mean something.

From Cornwall, to the world.

Cornish Wave is proudly rooted in Cornwall.

It’s where the idea comes from, and it’s a huge part of what makes the brand what it is.

But I don’t want the ideas created here to stay here.

I want to share them with the world.

And hopefully, as Cornish Wave grows, I can create opportunities for other local creative people too — giving people the chance to work together, earn a living from their creativity and become part of something they’re proud of.

That’s the dream.

Maybe one day there’ll be writers, illustrators, musicians, filmmakers, designers and all sorts of other creative people working together under the Cornish Wave name.

Maybe someone will walk into Cornish Wave with an idea they’ve been carrying around for years, and together we’ll help them turn it into something real.

That is the Cornish Wave I want to build.

I don’t know exactly where this will go.

And honestly, that’s part of the fun.

I don’t know what Cornish Wave will look like in five years.

I don’t know how many books we’ll publish, how many films we’ll make, how many artists we’ll work with, or what crazy idea will come along next.

But I do know one thing:

I don’t want to stop creating.

And I don’t want other people to feel like they have to stop creating either.

And whiles the possibilities are huge, we're starting small - right here in Penzance and the surrounding areas.

So, whether you’re here to discover something I’ve made, you’re looking for something new to read, you’re interested in working with Cornish Wave, or you’ve simply got an idea of your own…

Welcome.

This is Cornish Wave.

A place for ideas.
A home for creativity.
A community of creators.

From Cornwall, to the world.
